The Holliday Charitable Trust

The Holliday Charitable Trust was originally set up by Harry Adams Holliday MBE, Peter Denny Saville and John Alistair Clemence in 1980. Harry Holliday was the original contributor to the fund and Peter and John were made trustees. Two years later Harry died and in 1990 Peter resigned as a trustee due to ill health. Richard Durden Holliday became a trustee in 1990 and Richard and John managed the trust until 2018, when Richard died of metastasized prostate cancer.

Andrew Richard Holliday took up the reigns in 2016 with John Clemence CBE and looked after the affairs with him until he resigned in 2023.

Andrew Holliday and Matthew Bennett FCA are now the trustees of the Holliday Charitable Trust and will continue to support as many worthy charities as possible.

Supported Charities

The Holliday Charitable Trust has supported over 300 different charities since 1980 and now has a dedicated cancer fund. My father Richard decided to set up the cancer fund after his brother Michael contracted and died of Prostate Cancer in 2010.  The trust donates to selected charities each year, some of which are listed below in no particular order.
